Bachelor of Foreign Languages with a major in Japanese

Course Description

The course is designed to help students become professionals in the area of translation and interpretation. At the beginning of every semester, placement tests are administered to assign students to class according to their levels. In addition, Korean and native Japanese professors work as a team to help students acquire 4 language skills in Japanese fast and effectively. Moreover, students will have opportunities to study in sister schools in Japan and take part in internship programs in Japan. The other core subjects of the course are English and tourism related subjects which will help them find jobs in the hotel, tourism, convention, or education industry. Students can also work for a combined degree in the subjects offered at Changshin University which will open up more opportunities to jobs in the global workplace.

Students improve their language skills in Japanese!

All native Japanese professors are teamed with Korean professors to teach all language classes. Level tests regarding listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are administered regularly to place students in the right class for fast and effective improvement. All language classes are small that students have more opportunities to practice their Japanese. Students also have access to the laboratory where they can practice translation and interpretation.

Changshin University has numerous sister schools in Japan: Mejiro University, Ube Frontier University, Suzuka International University, University of East Asia, Yamaguchi University of Human Welfare and Culture, Nagoya University of Arts, The Group of Osaka University of Arts, Akamonkai Japanese Language School, and I-seifu Information Engineering Institute. Students have opportunities to study in sister schools in Japan for more than one semester.
